  • Gear surround adrift!

Hi gang, so I've noticed that my gear gaiter appears to be coming adrift slightly. In the attached pic you might see the small gap, it was difficult to get a good picture. More of a niggle than a major issue but I just wondered if there's a knack for securing it? Or if anyone knows what causes it. Thanks in advance!

The boot is just clipped onto the chrome piece. lightly squeeze the sides of the bottom of the boot and pull up to disengage it. tuck the material back under and push the boot back down into position.

Use a little bit of hairspray on the underside of the leather gaiter, helps it to 'seat' nicely when you have it clipped down into place.
