  • Back from hols

Just spent a few days in the west of Ireland visiting my sister.
Got back last Wednesday(4th sept) and then went to north Wales for a week.
Unfortunately I could not take the DS3 as my in-laws are unable to climb inland out the back.
Therefore have not driven car for two weeks. Had to hire a diesel ford galaxy which served it's purpose.
As soon as I got home today I found any excuse to get the DS3 out of the garage and go for a drive.
I think next time we go away the in-laws will have to stay at home or travel by train.

    Regards Tbart.

Welcome back! Good on you for thinking about the inlaws, if it was mine (especially the mother in law) they would be walking.

Fortunately for me my in-laws are not too bad,it was just the fact that having to hire
a car deprived me of driving my DS3 on some of the best driving roads in the country.
On a positive note it also saved me putting 700 miles on the clock of my car.

      Regards Tbart.

The galaxy is actually a fairly decent drive for a 7 seater.
Getting back behind the wheel of the DS3 was pure bliss.
I have even volunteered to go looking for new bathroom fittings tomorrow just so I can take
            the car for a spin.

            Regards Tbart

              Silly, silly boy....

Should have taken the DS3 and hired a second one for the in-laws and you could of had your own mini convoy

In reply to Bigfeet, that would of been interesting seeing the look on my 86yr old
father-in-law's face if he had to drive a DS3 instead of his diesel C3 Picasso.

                Regards Tbart
