That maybe the case but the other half really has thrown her toys out of the pram with this one.

She has her heart set on the ink blue and is annoyed with the company for messing us around really. Will keep looking for the one we want.

Stupid question. Why not go and see your dealer in London, I've matched Lingcars many a time with no effort, plus there are four cars matching your colour choice with another 20 due in or arrived into the UK.

I did go to a dealer just around the corner and they wanted £200+VAT and other quotes have been £180inc VAT

If they matched it or even came close I would absolutely go with them.

Might give another dealer a call to see, you never know and its only time for me, so.... watch this space

Think I know what is going on, the leasing company you have the quote has already bought the cars from Citroen and then they lease to their customers, a very old trick to get discounted cars which normal Citroen Dealers can't do. Hence why you can only had certain colours.




Also with a note to making things clear when we put numbers up on the screen saying "I got this" can we please have the FULL breakdown - i.e mileage, term, deposit, options, etc. Makes comparing so much easier!

The finance/leasing company buys the cars from Citroen at a discounted rate and then leases them to customers using their own rates and terms. Lots of the big fleet players do this, nothing wrong with it expect it can make it hard to compete with!

I got the following from lingscars:

DS3 DSport 155 with leather pack

Mileage: 8000 per year

Deposit: £750

Monthly cost: £250 pcm over 35 months

I was pretty happy with that as I couldn't find anything to match it at the time.

I've done 6500 miles in 4m, when I looked at this once before it worked out v expensive with my mileage at the time of approx 25k a year

not as bad as one may think if you shop around.

my step-dad just got a DStyle+ 90 with 30k annual mileage and is paying <£250pcm for 24 months.

I'll try and get specifics and list tomorrow.

I'm paying £253pcm for my DSport 110 over 36 months with £15k annual mileage, initial payment around £700.

I couldn't find any deals like that last Spring when I started looking, in the end I went with my Astra SRi as a largeish deposit and personal loan for the rest
