Hi, is it normal for there to be a 'stipple' effect at the bottom of the door sills, just above the black plastic side skirt? Mine has about an inch of rough looking surface along the full length! Thanks in advance!

Most new cars not just the DS3 or citroens have this strip it is the undercoating to protect the cars body and adds a bit of flexibility to lessen the chance of chips. This area takes a lot of abuse from stones and other road debris + people hitting it with their feet getting in.Originally posted by cyclone
