So, I leased a DSport+

My first post here, please be gentle :cool:

Always liked the look of the DS3 and the other week decided I wouldn't mind looking at new car - 3 days later I had a lease order placed at Citroen - Whoops! Bit of an impulse 'purchase' but hey ho, you only live once.

I've gone for black/black and the THP 155 model DSport+ Model, which should be with me in a week or two. I've been driving a 1.6 06 plate Astra since I passed my driving test aged 17 4 years ago so it's a huge upgrade and I can't wait.

Just wondering if anyone had any tips or advice for a new DS3 owner? Any decent features, hidden features, things I should know etc?

First chance you get, take it to a nice twisty road. Then when you get back, park up and play with all the buttons

Can't wait for it to arrive, and there's lots of twisty roads around here so can't wait to give it a spin on those!

As for the buttons, not looking forward to that too much, I'll probably still be working them all out 2 years later

Tips? Don't kerb the alloys, they're expensive to fix (I found that out the hard way over the weekend!)

Couple of things I founds out:
1) You can adjust the readout on the dash to show how many miles you've got left in the tank.
2) pressing the padlock button twice on the fob will deadlock the car.

Ed: Check the oil and water weekly, stick in a KN/Pipercross panel filter, turn the ESP off

To leave a window open on a hot day with the alarm not firing, lock the car and then unlock it and wait 30 seconds.

Or use the little switch to turn off the interior sensors ? The switch is on the small panel bottom right of the dashboard near where the key/ignition is
