Went in to purchase some replacement clips for my side skirts. Tried to sell me the full skirt.

Asked them to clear an engine management light, they wanted £35 for the honour.

Went back in for an air freshener, told me they'd order one in. Never heard back from them.

Those are my only experiences with Citroen Sale.

I know this is a favourite topic of yours, Bigfeet (!)

Isn't the issue here that DRLs are too bright to be legal at night, so the solution for manufacturers is either (a) to dim the DRLs when the other lights are switched on (AFAIK this is the BMW, Audi, etc. option); or (b) to switch them off when the other lights come on (the DS3 option).

If I understand DS3man Steve correctly, he is suggesting that there is software out there that can achieve option (a) above for the DS3.

If that is the case, wouldn't it still be legal?

The continuing validity (or not!) of the warranty is a separate issue, of course!

No, the issue is the placement of the LED's, even if they were dimmed they would still break EU law.

Oh dear, what have I started??? Lol I told the wife what I was doing with regards to the lights, her words "leave the lights alone, your 32 years of age" I won't lie, she wears the pants so I think their staying as Citroen intended! Ha ha ha
