    It does use more fuel but in modern cars the amount is so small that it's not worth worrying about.

                  Air con will use slightly more fuel, but its not that noticeable, same applies when driving with windows down or 4 people in the car (drag factor). if any of you are so worried about using the ac then dont use it

                            HP Is the king of sauce....But on a more serious note i have this problem too air con always on when i get in car its clear then when i drive for 20 secs its misted up and cant see a bloody thing a minute to minute 30secs later its clear. any ideas???

                                Mine never does this though, I do use the windscreen button in the winter from time to time though as the screen can be misted up first thing in the morning
