Thanks Wes! I'd quite like to see the possibilities of the trims to go around the DS3 (to go with the front splitter) skirts, rear diffuser...

So.... We looked at the car. Thought various things over and looked at ways as to how to fit the splitter to the car as it's not as simple as first thought!
It looks as though we came up with a way to do it! It will attach over the existing rubber guard similar to that of the pic below.
This is from another car but gives a rough idea of look. It will bolt on the sides but the sides will be slightly more square to match existing bodywork lines of the DS3. It will also have the middle section slightly larger to make sure two bolts can go through the middle section.
The next step is for me to go back in two weeks time and I will help build the moulds. Then four weeks after that.... Fitting!
So there we go.... We are officially under way!
The cost will hope to be £89 including postage.
A final point that was mentioned for the splitter is the option of a full carbon version but will be in the region of £300 if anyone was interested?
Yes shweeeet. Been waiting for you to post Is it a tough job to fit on then for a novice like myself or was this just him figuring out the best way? Looks good tho. £300 for carbon, was thinking of maybe just getting it wrapped when I get one.
my citroen salesman...."I really like the diesel, I think it drives more like a petrol than the petrol does!
= fool
We spent two hours researching more ideas as the original idea would have meant a lot more work and twice the price!
The version that will be produced will just need lining up on your car, pilot holes drilled and then bolt on with (i think) 6 bolts on each side and 2 in the middle.
Kev did advise that if you need extra strength then to drill pilot holes, bolt on lightly to ensure you're happy then remove and add tiger tape to it then bolt on.
Omg ! That looks soooo classy does look low which is exactly what u want it to be like,im gona have to think about getting over all the speed bumps i have to drive over every day, as they are mahoosive

DS3 DSPORT 155 THP- Fuchsia Pink/Thorium Grey Special Edition - DO NOT TOUCH !!!
Thanks wes for the pics. Gives an idea of what it may look like. Whilst cleaning mine this morning had a look at the shape of mine this morning. I see what you mean about the square sides. Should look very nice with the finished product. If you can take as many pics when the fitting takes place to give everyone an idea of self fitting that would be great.
Once again thanks for taking the time to get this project of the mark.
Gotta say they are pretty big in Brighton (Humps)
And having seen yours in the flesh ds3r, (Verrrrry nice) it would be a close call round some of the Industrial estates round here
Just have to drive carefully with one fitted:redface:

Should hopefully be done just in time for Xmas
If its being bolted to the rubber strip is there any idea how much movement/vibration there would be at speed? looks sweet by the way, well done mate
DS3 1.6THP DSport with a few bits added.....nickname BB  Performance...Depends on how heavy my right foot is
There shouldn't be much movement gazski. That was one of the issues around how to secure the middle section as this would have given a LOT of movement but with the middle section it will work well.
When I say bolt to rubber, I kind of mean over most of it but I'm certain it bolts in places into the car
