  • Best car so far?

Over the years of driving which have been many I have also had many cars which have included many Citroen models including two original DS. Having had numerous of the more modern era Citroen models covering the last 15 to 20 years I have come to the conclusion that the Citroen DS3 is certainly my favorite Citroen to date. I am in fact on my second DS3 having still kept my first one. The first being a DStyle and the second and most recent purchase a DSport. They both give a feeling of excitement when driven and admired. Both I never get bored at looking at the great lines, colour combinations and styling. Not to mention the fun in driving them and the comments you get from people that see them.

Although I have also had other brands of cars after three years I still have great pleasure from my DS3’s and have not been able to say that about other brands or Citroen models before.

This led me thinking what other’s felt about their DS3 compared to other cars they have had?

I found this post very interesting as I too have had many cars over the years.
I haven't had mine as long as you(only 5 months) but normally at this stage I am beginning to look for my next car.
I still get a buzz walking upto the car and getting in and it is one of the best driving cars I have had.
My previous cars have usually been ,so called, prestige models (such as Volvo and Saab) and I can honestly say I don't
feel that I have lost any of the luxuries you would associate with these brands.

    Regards Tbart.

This is only my ninth car since my first one in 1973, my sixth Citroen, and my second car owned from new (the other one was a 2007 C4 which went to the big car park in the sky last February).
Like Tbart, I still get a buzz getting in to it, and I've never had that before (well, not since my first ever car - a Morris 1000 van - LOL!)
Its a great looking car from all angles, too. I never did like the back view of the C4 that I had before (Mrs called it the 'baby elephant'!)
All in all my DS3 is the best to drive, to be seen driving, or just to look at!

This is something I bang on about to customers and friends alike! It's not the badge or even the specification of a car that is important but how the car makes you feel when you drive it.

This SEAT advert sums it up beautifully.

Thats indeed a very good ad and so ture for so many people. I heard that manufactures often come up with concept cars that will never go into production as a whole but elements will be used in future cars. The idea is to spark interest and passion amongst it's perspective customers towards that brand and new models that are to be released.

Usually, your current car is always your fave (And mine is)
But a blast from the past, always remember my Black XR3i, early 80's, one of the few on the road
Mechanics at the local garage refused to look at it, for fear theyd balls things up
Nice looking car at the time- and went pretty good too

My favorite car has to be............

1996 Subaru Impreza WRX heavily modified and running 343 bhp 330 lb/ft torque at the moment but soon to be between 410 - 425 bhp with anti-lag and launch control. I've owned it for 4.5 years and still get excited to drive her every time

                          Long lost brother :-)
Couldn't afford the RS Turbo, but when to the auction a few times and looked at them.
Could have just afforded it, but then buying from auctions in those days was a lottery
