Thought it was 3 years, but your insurance ask's for 5... which I don't see why they should -.-.

Just googled it. Its 3, 4 and 5 LOL (Speeding anyway)

3 years active on licence
Another year before it can be removed, so 4 years on licence
And Insurance is 5 year as Rick says

Most are there, as scare tactics anyways- think you will be fine

Usually getting 3 points don't affect the cost at all......its after that

I think Den might be the best person to confirm if once the 14 days are past you're in the clear...... I always thought that you could get a ticket even after that period of time had passed....

You will find that the force concerned only have to show that they sent the NIP to the registered owner within 14 days (ie posted it) for service to be proved

so maybe say best part of 3 weeks to be sure....
