The space saver wheel/kit is v expensive from Citroen, for my first DS3 they were going to charge over £250, they did a deal but it was still v expensive Was pleased that the new DS3 came with it

Run with a repair unit and have done for over 5 years, much prefer it to a heavy wheel. Plus in my mind it's quicker to use and safer.

We discussed these the other day in work because my boss had a flat tyre and a goo kit.

We got one of the apprentices to take the wheel off, put it in the boot of his car and take to Kwikfit to get repaired.

Why not just have the 'Mountain come to Mohammed' and use one of the many mobile services?

The boss's car is leased, and the lease company wouldn't pay for that.
They wanted to recover the car back to Kwikfit.

I just had to buy a new tyre as I had no spare, ruined the inner structure driving home on it as didn't even know it was flat. £112 for a Bridgestone through ASDAtyres with work discount, plus takes two days to arrive, plus two days in a hire car to get to work as no holidays due to peak volumes, no pay for first three days sick, so that option out, plus I'd get a counselling, so £170 plus bill...I'll be buying a steel wheel and a jack and bolts, so there can be no repeats.

If you buy the Citroen space saver you don't need the bolts as it fits with no issues, you're are restricted to a low speed though
