  • Scratches on glove box

The glove box seems to be developing quite a few scratches at the bottom. It seems this kind of plastic scratches very easily and is also used on the doors. Any recommendations on how to remove these?

I heard "armor" mentioned on another forum. Apparently this removes scratches with no problem. I don't know what it is or where to find it though

They also do a tough clear coat shine for car metalwork too

It's rather hard to remove scratches from plastic and the only real thing you can do is to cover it up a bit, try giving the trims a really good clean with a quality trim cleaners to see if that helps the appearance.

Very fine wet and dry paper used wet and then back to black is very good.

Most good mobile car dent repairers have 'plastic' spray which is used to restore the finish of the area, comes in various colours and textures. I have had a couple of cars repaired like this and both times it was cheap and very successful.

                      Have a look here http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_od...paint&_sacat=0
