New headlight assembly...

So tootling down the A90 yesterday at 70mph (+VAT...) I took out a pheasant. It bounced off the drivers side light at some force and managed to push the assembly back slightly and force the indicator bulb out the back of the assembly, shattered the plastic and severed the wire... There's also a bit of damage at the back of the main headlight. I've done a botch soldering job to get it working again but in need of a new front light assembly. Does anyone know of any breakers/dealers that could help without costing me Citroen Stealership prices? I've seen one on eBay for £100 but wonder if there's anything I need to look out for. It's a 2011 DSport HDI I have. Cheers guys

Not sure about this but the c3 headlights look the same as the ds3 ones maybe if you cant find a ds3 one in a breakers or online you could look for a c3 one

Already on with it just waiting for my Citroen EPC password to update and as soon as i have it I'll have a look

Yeah I'll go see if I can find any at a scrappy's but at the same time have an irrational fear of smashed up cars so could be tricky haha!! Maybe will ring up instead of just turning up at one! Are the any differences between models for the headlamp assembly? I would assume they are all the same...

Some of the C3s headlights have a white strip on the inside instead of black.

From Lincoln, but was just in from offshore and on the drive home that day!! I don't normally drive it, the last time I did I had a blowout on the same stretch of road... It's getting too expensive haha!

Had to go and have a nosy at a C3 to check this out!! That helps, might have more luck getting a 2nd hand one
