        true... but I prefer my original hypothesis

        I used to own a car sales business and have bought and sold hundreds of cars, and I found that most people are lazy when it comes to buying or selling cars, they dont do any leg work, they except the first offer and dont like to haggle.. I think its a British thing, although the exception to this was foreign customers, they have it in their nature to haggle ! and good for them .

          Well the car went, took less than 5 mins to sell. Offered book price of 7500, told him to go look at the car and the extras on it. Got 9315 in the end. Cars now sold to citeron. Bmw 320i msport cab now in place. Cheers for your input.
