How do you get to it? Is there a way to alter the controls e.g. Amount of bass it produces and the frequency. Does anyone know what setting it is likely to be at?

It's in the boot behind the grill panel, I can't remember which side and I didn't drive today so I can't go and check. As far as I know there are no user controls though...

It's in your boot behind a grill panel on the drivers side.

You can insert foam bit to help it stop vibrating - that has worked for some members.

To change settings like the Bass etc press the music note symbol button on your head unit.

Surely the foam would dull the noise?

Haha, but if you put it around. The assembly it will restrict the air movement?

Yeah Zack is talking about a piece of foam around the outside of the sub to stop it knocking on the bodywork or panels in the boot

OK, just found out I do have a subwoofer (had my car for almost a year) I always thought the subwoofer was that optional extra tube-thingy..
Had always been impressed with the sound for a "non-sub system"

If you have the little speaker on the centre dash with the silver panel that says "Hi-Fi" then you will have the subwoofer in the boot behind the right hand side panel.
