  • anyone use seat covers

anyone on here got decent seat covers that fit well, i only ask as i've got a small dog and want to protect the seats, i bought some leather look ones from halfords but the fronts fitted in a fashion but theres no way the backs would fit, without unbolting the base and splitting the cover due to the middle seat belt.

Have you looked at alternate options, like full rear seat dog covers with a dog seatbelt, what about using the boot.

wife holds the dog when i'm driving she wont put it the boot and those dog covers in the rear are ok for a five door.

Might be some threads at tge bottom of the page (if you are on a PC) that might have some info, something to bear in mind:

Did an ebay search, and all look very generic and might not fit the DS3 seats perfectly.

Aidan lists these, but they are quite dear - http://www.partsworld-uk.com/product...Citroen_9429LL

I've used in all my former cars + DS3 a full rear seat cover that is hanged on the neck supports. It's perfect as it collects all that sand and loose fur on it (easy to vacuum off), and has holes for seat belts.

That's what I was suggesting, and perfect for a 3 door as the one in my DS3 fitted perfectly, my dog is almost fully grown so prefers the boot as looking directly out the back is more comfortable for him as he doesn't suffer from motion sickness then.

@kbcalypso, I assume your dog is still restrained by a body harness even if on your wife's lap?

yes dogs has a body harness which the wife holds, i did order some custom leatherette covers when i got my fiat 500, was told it would take 28 days ordered 3 dec and still waiting so not ordering another set from them as now i dont need the fiat set, found another custom maker on ebay called topseatcovers abd they have a pic of a ds seat in leatherette, so might go for them.

That looks excellent, I'd be interested in a DS3 version of that Aidan, next year we're getting a Springer (possibly a Huskie as well) so this would be very helpful. The only thing I couldn't see was whether it allows for the seat belt harness to attach to the seat belt in the seats ?
