DS3 Dstyle plus to DSport should I

Hi

Am already an owner of ds3 1.6 dstyle plus, few weeks ago garage called me as they do so over last weekend and today have taking out few DSport plus, car is great just looking for any feedback from any of you guys that have also made that move

I've driven the vti, DSports and the Racing so far.

There's a massive difference between the VTI and both the DSport models. I've found that most often in the DStyle you have to predict your acceleration as power is only available at certain revs.

With the DSports throughout the whole rev range you seem to have a constant, higher source of power that just makes every aspect of driving much more fun and more simple.

If you have the means to upgrade I'd definitely recommend it.

I upgraded from my dstyle plus vti to a Dsport plus thp just over a year ago.. best decision I've made! Fair bit extra cash but worth every penny in my opinion.

When I had the vti, it was good but I had the usual itch after a year to get a new car but with the thp I think I'd be happy to keep it until it falls to bits.. my plan is to see out the 3 years warranty and then get a remap.. that will be my next 'new car' me thinks! :-D

Guys the info has been so helpful thank you all so much and woo boo I have done it my dstyle plus goes and my brand new DSport plus will be mine on the 26th of jan can't wait one other question what's the DSport like on fuel with the 6 speed gear box do you get better mpg??

Not sure about the difference fuel wise between the 2 diesels. My thp is marginally worse on fuel than my vti but that's down to the way I drive it ha. On long distances sitting at a steady speed I actually find my fuel goes further now. I'd guess that it would be a similar scenario with you.
