DS3 motability scheme

Hi all, i'm new to this forum. on sunday the 12th i went to test drive a ds3 & i placed an order for one, i chose my colour scheme etc, i then today recieved and email asking to choose additional extras (radio stations they can store for me ready for pick up) at the end of the email it stated that they would contact me shortly to tell my when i can go and collect the car. on my order information the estimated delivery is the 30th of jan i'm just wondering and hoping it will come before this. the car does not have any disabilty additonal extras to add on its just a bog standard version. does any one know them selves how long it takes usually? (the email i got was from the hull store which is where i purchased the car)

In short, anywhere from a 10 days to 3 months, depending on where the dealer sources your car.

On the motability scheme its normally 3 months from putting in your order.
Iv never had one early yet and my DS will be my 3rd car from them on the scheme.
Its a painful wait but worth it.

I'm a motability customer too - all DS3's are made to order and the date of 30th Jan is actually fairly quick - Enjoy it when it comes, they are the dogs!

hi all thanks for your feedback, well citroen contacted me yesterday and can not get one from stock so are having to get the car built at the factory so i've got an 8-10 week wait now, ugh. its really annoying as my current car is on its last legs and tax & Mot is due in a couple of weeks hopefully the car comes as soon as possibly!

I feel your pain mate. Mines also had to come from the factory. I was on the phone to the dealer every couple of days. But they were very understanding and kept me updated every step of way

Motability notify you three months before your car is due for renewal. but you should of made your mind up before that so you can order soon as possible. You can order a car before that if your on an indefinite award but your delivery date stays the same as when your current car runs out. But it gives the dealers more time to source the car depends on what spec you want I've had 7 cars on the scheme now as for your current car you will have to arrange to get it tested anyway and the tax and insurance will come though the post won't cost you any money. Actually the MFL System still doesn't allow new applications until the start of the ninety day window, its just a sneaky tatic used by some dealers to stop you going else where
