Always used shell V Power on my performance cars from my 500+ BHP Scooby Also in my 3.0ltr crossfire and will be using it in my 155 petrol DS3 sport plus why it burns better and cleaner you do get performance gains and from what I've read on the club forums a cleaner burning fuel would be an advantage to the DS3. When possible I used to use avgas which is aviation fuel for petrol powered aircraft and this is 110 LL. and burns super cleanYour never to old to be car mad :;)

Sorry my mistake on the crossfire it was as cyclone so rightly said a 3.2ltr engine. 2005 was at the height of my car owning madness we had 6 between myself and my late wife Gill was fighting skin cancer.so I came to the opinion that sod it I was going to make sure that she enjoyed her last years to the full if the treatment failed so I bought her a baby blue convertible crossfire. I had a 500 bnp heavily modded Scooby i had modded myself , we had adopted 4 kids after having fostered 63 so we had a chysler grand voyager 2.8 ltr limited for taking the kids out we had a land rover discovery 3.0TDV6 for taking the kids out in the winter and me and gill has a citreon C2 VTS each for fun 6 cars all brand new in 2005 can you imagine how much we spent on premium fuel, it must have been staggering and yes I had a very good job. Gill lost her battle with cancer in 2011 aged 50 and I don't regret a penny spent as for premium fuel it's a big yes from me it costs more but burns cleaner, you get more bang for you buck, so in my opinion it's worth the extra and my soon to be delivered DS3 will running on it :-)Your never to old to be car mad :;)

I've only ever put Shell V Power in my Focus ST, if you put supermarket cheap fuel in you will notice after a while your rev counter will flicker slightly when stationary, but when using the premium fuel it stops this and settles the counter dead still. Definitely better paying more.Using Tapatalk
