  • Leaving car for a few weeks

A quick few searches didn't reveal any thing so I'll ask this straight off,

I'm going away for a few weeks and I'm wondering if there's anything that I can do to protect and/or prep my DS3 before going?
Also she's due her service according to the trip computer, is it better to get this done before or after I go in 2 weeks (ish)

    Many thanks

If the car will be left out in the elements then a good wash and polish and a wax is all i would do tbh

As Sparky says, a good wash, polish and wax is needed to protect from the elements.

A wash cleans the car, a polish makes the car shiny and the wax protects the paintwork. Therefore the wax in your case will be the most important application.

May I suggest a hard wax such as Collinite, AG HD or Fk1000p. Either of these will easily look after the car for the few weeks that you're away.

Worked a 2 months away and then 1 month off back home job for the first 2 years off owning the DS3. Never did anything before parking it. Needed a wash when got home but it all ways started right up with no problems. Your only going to be gone for a couple weeks, that is nothing.
