Not gone for good just temporarily to a garage so a paint repair can be made. (Cannot believe a paint problem on my car). Always getting told "you'll rub the paint off that car", well it looks like I actually have.

Anyway after a recent polish to the car, I noticed specks of red paint on the microfibre cloth after buffing off said polish. Looked closer and discovered this catastrophe on the bodywork beneath the wing mirror...





Checked mirror on other side of the car and that side is starting to bubble aswell.
Car now in Sapphire Garage in Manchester and will take about a week to be fixed. Worth having a look at your own cars guys. Been assured by the garage that it's nothing I have done so future details are safe lol.

Now slumming it in this horrible coloured car. No cruise, front armrest, rear sensors or bluetooth and is really slow but has THREE cupholders and seats are really comfy.

At least it's getting sorted and you know it's nothing you've done to cause it. Definitely going to check mine when I get home.

Nice one Chris. Never in my 23 years of car ownership have I experienced paint that has done that and I have owned some sheds over years :-P

When I went car shopping, the first car I test drove was a Fiesta. I was so unimpressed with it.

It is so gutless. The capless petrol is certainly an eyeopener on it though.

Very weird pal. Was concerned it was something that I had done but garage stated that it would be all over the car and not just in one spot. Possibly mirrors were installed by Monsieur whilst paint was still soft, I don't know.

Washed mine Monday after 600mls round trip so it wasn,t to filthy to hand over this sat.and low and behold I found a patch of blistering paint(15mm x15 approx.)near the drivers door handle.Spotted whilst drying.
Not impressed for an 1yr old car. Never mind not my problem after saturday
