Some good news, after a little bit of confusion my car has been picked up and within a few hours they had called me to say it will be fixed. Should have it back around the 6th march but il be away and OA is ok to tolerate the Fiat 500L hire car until then. I suppose on the plus side the scratch my hound had put in the bumper wont be an issue anymore.

Good news that the car will be repaired. Let me know if you need any advice after you take delivery on the 6th.

I wouldn't do it for a number of reasons.

I think by law you have to claim whip lash xD

over the past 8 years of driving I probably paid around £7,000 for technically nothing, you should get some back in these circumstances!

What I would receive from the claim is a drop in the ocean from what I would lose by not being able to fly out to work tomorrow afternoon.

So long as youre sure your not affected- Have seen people with whiplash injuries, where the pain and discomfort has lasted for years
