Just signed up for the following, seems a great deal to me but would appreciate some feedback in case I'm missing anything, having owned the same car outright for the past 9 years I'm new to these PCP agreements.

      Supplier: Local Citeron dealership
      DS3 1.6 VTI Red Edition
63 plate, 10 miles on the clock, 3 months old (showroom car)
      Cash Price: £11,868.75
      Deposit: £750
      GFV: £5,431.22
      Duration: 48 months
      Monthly Installment: £169
      Representative APR: 8.8%
      Mileage: 6,000
      Excess Mileage Charge: 3.33ppm

Now I know I'm going to be going over this mileage by probably 3k/year which is going to leave me with an extra bill of £400 (+vat?). However I'm being told I will only be charged this if I exit the PCP agreement with them. If I choose enter into a new deal on a new car, this is exempt (or could it be rolled over?). Either way 3.3ppm doesn't seem too hefty and to get it upped would just ramp up my monthly fee.

I stated my top end budget was £170/month on a used 1-2 year old car, so I supposed they've just worked the deal to fit that number. Except they've done it on a practically brand new car which is listed in the showroom at £16k, hence why I think I've got a good deal!

Yeh you only get stung if you walk away, and 3.33p is nothing really, 1000 miles = £33...

Just check the paint work when you get it, so many people looking in the car it is bound to get a scuff or 2 from a jacket...

          I have a DSportPlus 1.6 HDi Airdream.

Paid 4+17 @ £228. 15,000 miles. Not sure about penalty but 2 months in and I've done 800.
