  • DS3 Dsport Plus Part Ex price

So I'm trading my DS3 up for something bigger. I've had quotes in the region of 9.9k£ for it from quick buy companies like we buy any car. I've since been to a garage looking to buy one of their cars and they gave me a part ex price of £9.5k....surely somethings wrong I wouldve though to expect £10.5k+ part ex if WBAC are offering 9.9k....??

Doesnt "we buy any car" offer tasty prices to lure you too them, then when they visually inspect it start knocking the price down
Took Citroens offer myself. £10k on a 2011 THP, that was March 2013
There were a few things they didnt spot :-)

What sort of state was it in, mines a 61 plate, 15600 miles few scuffs on the alloys but pristine other than that.

How do you even go about selling it to citroen?

Pretty good TBH. Mine was part exed, had 23000miles with a couple issues that werent that visible
But they priced it without reference to those issues- i didnt haggle as the amount suited me toward the new 155

Ed- Everybody always gets more than you for their car- trust me LOL

Fair enough. See you have a "Plus" too. That should help

Yeah, so realistically I should be getting offers significantly beyond 9500 part ex for a 2 year old dsport plus with 15600 miles on it. No scratches or dents just a few alloy scuffs/kerbing

If you really want I can run your details through my system for a correct guide, but bear in mind that your car is only worth want someone is prepared to pay for it. For us Petrol DS3's are a nightmare and as a result we only buy if the car is stood back by at least three month on guide, this might explain the cautious offer you got.

If it's not too much trouble that'd might be helpful. I can maybe understand why the lower power ones might be a pain as people will be PCP'ing them new but the higher dsport plus like mine has a BMW engine, decent power, decent economy and is very practical. Ticks a lot of boxes really.
