Get out of car to check and hear a hissing noise... I've only gone over a glass candle holder!!
Tyre is completely flat.

Question I ask you guys is, should I waste using the compressor and sealant to get me to 'anywhere that isn't kwik fit' even tho glass is well and turkey embedded in tyre.

And on another note, should I demand the reckless neighbour foot the bill for new tyre?

I'd just get it changed.

Both fronts are being replaced just deciding if to go with mid range:

Ecsta Le Sport KU39
205/45R17 KUMHO KU39 XL 88Y

Or premium (if the neighbour pays ha ha!)

If it won't stay pumped it, give the glue a go but if the glass comes out I'd just drive on the flat tyre

Personally I'd get a mobile tyre place to come and change them and not risk either the glue or driving on the flat and damaging the wheel

I used Kwik-Fit to change my fronts, booked online getting a really good price and the service was exceptional.

Well.... That was a complete and utter waste of fluffing time. Not just the one piece of glass but 3. Off to see if local tyre place has what I need in stock.

I used Kwik fit for my latest tyres. £4 more than blackcircles, and they do free mobile fitting if you buy two or more. They had the tyres I wanted and could do it in a couple of days.

Its probably not worth trying to get your neighbour to pay, too much agro for some tyres you were already going to replace soon.

If that's the tyre goo in the photo, it amply illustrates why (IMHO) the goo system is not fit for purpose - which is why I opted for a spare wheel instead.

OK, it may be a space saver and limited to 50mph, but most of my driving is in 30mph or 40mph limits anyway.

Thats the latex stuff from the tyre inflate pack.

Thankfully p&b tyres Oswestry, are in process of removing both front wheels to take away and fit 2 new ones.
