  • Has anyone used "WeWillBuyYourCar.com" to sell their DS3?

I'm in the process of trading up my DS3 and I'm getting offers ranging £10k - £10.5k part ex. on the car. I jsut put the details into wewillbuyyourcar.com (not webuyanycar.com) and got a quote back at £10800, they even ask for any damage and I was truthful about scuffs on 3 alloys other than that its pristine. Does this all seem very legit to people here? Some reviews I've read seem to say these guys arent as bad as the others for knocking you down on price so long as you've been honest on the form.

My DS3 is a 61 plates DsportPlus with 16k miles on the clock.

Yeah that's what is said about most of them but most reviews of this one don't seem to echo that unless youve lied about the condition (they ask for alot more information on the state of the vehicle on the form than most others)

I'm very tempted, the price is only a few hundred quid shy of what I'd expect to get selling it privately

Go for it... if they drop too much say "No thanks mate"
Mind you- you could stick it up on Friday ad £500 more and see if you get any interest?
I CBA and just took what they offered part ex

Part ex was my original plan but part ex is 10k-10.5 as mentioned, also not taking into account likely I can get a better deal on a car just walking in with no ties to anything.

Not heard of them of them before but if your research looks good, I'd probably give them a go, what's the next step in their process ?

They send someone round to inspect the car then give you the official quote, if alls ok they put you on the phone to management who transfer the money to your bank and you hand over the keys.

My other thought is would the Citroen dealer I bought the car from new want the opportunity to buy it back?

I do understand what you say- it was just easier for me. And a couple things werent up to scratch that they didnt look that hard, so didnt find
Any car would have done, and knocked my anything up to a grand
See what they say, and see if you can get your 10.800. Hope you do :-)

You could ask the original dealer, in my experience they're more accommodating if you're buying the next car from them

Yeah, I know dealers are usually looking for decent stock though (under 20k miles, high end model etc.) Nothing against citroen but they dont really have a car that excites me

No- they dont want the hassle
Not unless its a really nice price

What about dealerbid.co.uk seems like a decent idea might be worth giving that a go just to get some prices.

Ive only ever sold through advertising or part ex, even sold sitting the car on the side of the road with the price in the window once
Other half and some friends have used webuyanycar and always been knocked down a bit, on the first offer
