        Quite right....me suitably chastised lol
I had company cars for 10 years, Clio, Xsara, Fiesta, Focus etc etc averaging about 10k miles. all serviced, tax and petrol included
I preferred that to my 45 p a mile that I get now- but i can modify
And after about 5 years the car has paid for itself in every way, not just the cost of it, (Insurance, tax etc) so theoretically a free car!

i have to pay for my fuel so tbh a diesel will only reduce my running costs. which will be nice
i've averaged 32mpg on this vti since i've had it which is loads better than the 14.8 my S8 averaged over 7 years lol

The income tax charge for private use of a company car with fuel (based on the price and CO2 of my vti) comes to about £235 per month in the current tax year, rising to about £250 per month from 6 April 2014 for a 40% taxpayer. I don't call that free.

You could lease one for less than that (and get 45p per mile back for business mileage).

The way I figure using my own vehicle at 45p a mile for 5 years, (Maybe 6) at 10,000miles a year, the car will pay for itself

I agree, and have just re-read your earlier post - I think I got you the wrong way round! (if you'll pardon the expression!)

Thought you had, but I can be a bit confusing when explaining something

One thing i do prefer with a company leases, is youve got absolutely no worries. Get in and drive (Hard)
