Do not buy this from Halfords :(

Hi all,
Bought a microfibre wheel brush from Halfords in the 3 for 2 deal.

What a mistake used it only twice and the metal rod which runs through the brush came through the microfiber cloth bit (stuff of nightmares). I now have one slightly scratched Bellone alloy, luckily I think they will polish out and I noticed before doing the other 3.

Take it back and at the same time show them your wheel, you might get a nice polish out of it

Meguirs do one that is very similar but i am not that impressed with it, in fact i have stopped using it as i feel it is not doing the wheels any good

Able to bend stem of the brush to get behind the spokes.



I have never used it on the face of the alloys though, just the rears.

Is it not suitable for the polish and painted areas on the front of the wheel then Andy ?

I wouldn't use it on the front Chris. The safest on the face of the alloys would have to be a noodle/mf/sheepskin mitt with shampoo. Even these Envy brushes scratched mine
