citreon recalls

at work today, the lads mentioned that they had heard on a radio station, that citreon were recalling some ds3's but we couldn't find any info, so i've just been on the website recalluk, and all citreon recalls for all models are listed complete with vin numbers so it's easy to check if yours needs going to be booked in, the recall for the ds3 is 249 cars made from jan 2014. hope this helps some one

Did you get any idea what the recall was for? All very recent then. Mind you 249 is relatively low number

If you register on the Citroen website you'll get regular emails - useful as they not only notify you of recalls, if there have been no recalls they verify that.

I caught something on the radio the other day! All I heard however was "......citroen ds3 and c3 models"

As DaveB said Citroen have their own dedicated site www.citroenrecalls.co.uk which customers can check their own vehicles against.

Nine times out of ten recalls are just small modifications to cars to improve things, anything a little more serious than the manufacturer will be getting in touch.

It only effected 276 Citroen's and at present already 70% of them have been checked by Citroen and the majority where checked BEFORE the vehicle was handed over to the customer.

This is just the media riding the bandwagon with gusto and causing panic.
