I had P6000's on a corsa years ago and they were horrendous! I've always steered clear of Pirelli's ever since.

Best review i could find- and looked for 4 months, were Michelin Pilot Sport3s, of which I know have four that are being fitted on a spare set of wheels within a week:-)sigpicJog on Noddy

Hi, I bought a used d sport last week with pirelli tyres on the front. The car did not corner well and drifted to the left. I have now got the dealer to fit 2 mid range tyres and the problen as disapperaed. You have the correct tyre sizes, from my experience it was the Pirelli tyres that were at fault. Hope this helps.

Four Bridgestone Potenza's on mine. I've only had the DS3 since Friday but I've ran them in the past on a type r and they provided decent performance in both the wet and dry. If your feeling flush, Goodyear Eagle F1's always seem to get a lot of support but they're expensive. Continental Sport contact are very good too.

For various reasons I chose to stick with 16" wheels rather than 17". I was a little bit concerned that they came with Michelin Energy Savers, not the grippiest tyres on the market. However, I've been pleasantly surprised - in handling terms it doesn't understeer noticeably, no worse than my late, unlamented Alfa 147 on Pilot Primacies (or is that Primacys?) & they inspire confidence in the wet. Of course, if I took it on a track they would be crap, but for normal road use they are fine. Long-lasting, too - at the last service at 24,000 miles the fronts still had 5,5mm tread - & probably save me money on fuel, not that I really care about fuel consumption.
