  • Thoughts after first run out in the DS3 D Sport HDi

Went to the meet in Manchester today and so had a nice little run out and here are my thoughts:

Engine, not too bad, coming down from a 200 Bhp TDi to a 110 has not been that bad, you can feel the lag a bit, but it is no slouch and I averaged 58 Mpg for 80 odd miles at COUGH 70 Mph COUGH and so not a bad return.

Handles very light and very well and the car does not roll too much but needs lowering.

    Comfy ride in the seats.

17s are too small and so time to find some 18s as them arches look lonely.

Overall, nice little car, feels nice to drive, needs a re-map, better exhaust and some 18s and away we go.

For my first ever Citroen and first time out of VAG for 16 years, not disappointed.

Watch you don't murder the ride quality by fitting it with 18s. The DSport sits slightly lower than the rest of the DS3 range anyway if I remember correctly. Glad you're enjoying the car.
