Wind Deflectors

Morning Guys,

Have purchasssed some genuine Citroen ds3 wind deflectors and i know they are very easy to fit.

What do people think of them i know some people have had problems with the vinyl but has that been resolved.

And what about you people that haven't had problems what do you make of them....

when i took mine in for repair, due to a tear in the vinyl the repairer said the door was marked under the vinyl and said it was more than likely that someone had tried to liberate the wind deflector. This was what caused the split.

I wouldn't be without mine now, I like the look of them and they definitely quieten the wind baffle noise you hear when driving at speed with the windows down.

I don't really notice the difference in noise. Just looks better to me.

Had mine for 3.5 years, Never had any problems

As i know they are easy to fit but when people had problems with the vinyl's why was this and what reg was the car...? are they better on newer models now or is it when they were put on...

Any tips for putting on aswell.

What Vinyl ? Doesn't come in contact with any on mine ?

I believe that's a separate issue.

The wind deflectors simply slide into the crevice where the window glass sits, it doesn't touch the vinyl and shouldn't create any issues.

If you read this post, it looks like someone tried to steal the deflectors and it damaged the metal frame, affecting the vinyl.

Posting for slightly diff reasons but i just got accessory brochure thru post and I was actually looking at the wind deflectors how much do they cost from citroen?

I found my citroen ones on ebay
