  • I freakin' love my car!

I don't get to do many long runs in my car, but when I do it leaves me speechless!

Went to Leeds today from Leicester (just over 200 miles round trip) & not only was it a comfy ride both ways, but I only used 1/3rd of a tank! On a 1.6 petrol (155 DSport)! At one point my range said 560!

Am I the only one impressed by the fuel economy of this car?!

I've just taken mine for a test drive after putting the deposit down last week.

      Loved it.

Will be doing ALOT of looooong journeys for work, and the range etc from the OP I'd great news.

Can't wait to pick it up on Thursday, genuinely excited.

Just remember, driving style has a lot to do with fuel economy. I normally drive a bit boy racer-ish, but when it's for work I drive as economically as possible to make as much profit off my fuel allowance as possible!

Today cost me about £20 in petrol & i'll get £95 back through work.

Once I'm on the motorway I tend to set the cruise control & let the car do the driving!

My fuel economy is terrible, but then that's more the way I drive and the fact it's still a new engine. It doesn't help that I don't do many long runs, it's mainly town driving I do.

I've done a few several hundred mile journeys in my THP and the fuel economy and refinement at motorway speeds really impressed me then you come off the motorway onto the B roads and it's even better

I realise that my previous posts sounds like I was moaning, but it wasn't supposed to! I love my DS3, especially doing some B road storming .

I'm looking to sell mine and get a 4th ds3 thp now,

Never got 560 out of it tho,
                              Average 400 to a tank,

And yes it's never skipped a beat. Not once !!
Any of them for that matter.
