hey!I change my engine oils every 5000km.I have an 1,4 diesel engine and I use castrol edge 5w-30.I think that this liquidity should fit yours as well but compare notes please

i've just spoke to one citroen garage and they say 5w-30 should be fine but i spoke to another and they quoted 0W-30 and that i must state low ash due to build up of sap etc.

But i then rang them back and asked if i could use Castro Edge 0W-30 did not state about low ash but BMW Engines use Castro and the engine is designed by BMW.

They said it would be fine Just wanted to get it right as its under warranty still

I believe that warranty is not affected by changing the oils.In fact the best protection for an engine is changing your oils regularly and also your oil filter.

Your oil must meet ACEA C2 spec to be ok for PSA engine's. ACEA C3 is safe to use also. The C2 spec is more for fuel efficiency and French based engines from 2004 onwards. where as the C3 is more for performance German vehicles, but is safe to use in the engines also.

Service box lists both 5w30 and 0w30 on the service schedule planner.

                  If in doubt, flat out
