When I pressed my key it used to jump out now nothing happens
When I press it again it shoots back in. I'm sure it used to be the other way round???

Jon's is like this I think. He broke the key, his dad 'fixed' it and now it does the same.

Give this a try JB:

Keys come under wear and tear as far as the warranty is concerned.

If your key is slightly 'impotent' then you will need to take the cover over and then use something like a 5p to split the casing open. Be careful the magnet doesn't fall out! Look at the hinge where the key folds and you should see a metal top with a t-bar on it, under this should be a spring. Now for the hard bit, lift the t-bar up and and rotate it to re-tension the spring and mount it back into the hinge - cue much shouting and swearing!

Put everything back to together and that should be it.
