DS3 lease early upgrade...?

Hi all

I'm almost 4 months into my 18 month lease and I've seen the new DS3 upgrade due out soon and I want it.

I'm on a lease with Citroen, has anyone upgraded theirs early before? Do they allow this?

I'm booking an appointment next week to see what the dealer says bug thought I'd ask here.

I've barely done 1800 miles so far so hoping that's in my favour when I ask to upgrade.

Appreciate anyone's thoughts and experiences.

Dunno about upgrading that early but I went to upgrade my ds3 in march and lease doesnt run out till september. Just ask them and see what they say.

When you say lease do you mean Elect3 or Contract Hire?

Personal Contract Hire.

Then no, sort of.

The only way out of a Contract Hire to to pay off the term in full, ie pay the finance company all payments still due for hire.

I've never leased a car or taken contract hire so I don't know the pro's/con's of each....

If you change your car every couple of years the overall 'life' costs work out cheaper in the end. Rather then going to full ownership and then dealing with Part Exchange you in essence just rent the car for the time you want it.

Pro - Reduced costs, VAT deductible for business use, no deprecation costs to worry about.
Cons - Fixed term, no ownership, high mileage charges.


For example;

DStyle 120 VTi over 24mths
Elect3 - £322
HP - £705
CCM - £226

That's it in a nutshell.
