    Hi all

Just wondering if anyone's seen on the French Citroen site.. it's letting you spec up a new DS3-R, complete with LED signature headlights.

Interesting. Now they just need to add the 267bhp engine from the RCZ-R

Probably getting super knock as they drive off the forecourt.

Those 0-62 figures for the 155 and 200bhp are pretty poor.

I saw an RCZ-R at a dealers. Was shocked to see it's the 1.6THP then I had a little laugh to myself because surely the engine can't cope with that much power

                    We're running a THP175 207 GTi engine up
Here around 300bhp at the moment, they can take them
Just depends on the piston material, rods, and turbo setup. There's a 207 on standard head running over 400 bhp I'm Greece so its possible on the later engines for sure. 270 is nothing on most modern cars as they aren't as viscious on torque all in one go as the old ones, all smooth compared to say a 300bhp cossie etc or a tuned up to GTT/ 5GTT of its era.
                    2012 DS3-R

                    If in doubt, flat out

Does the RCZ-R engine have different internals to the DS3 THP then ?

If I remember correctly from the pre-production media it does.

But they don't have to deal with Citroen dealers when there is an issue.
