After being part of the recall last year (June) I had an engine warning come up last weekend. Took the car to the garage, they told me that it requires the coils and spark plugs to be replaced - at 14 months old.
Considering the recall was to replace possible faulty parts, the new parts have only lasted 1/2 the amount of time that the 'faulty' parts did.
I'm expecting a call from the garage today following a visit of their warranty consultant to see if Citroen will pay for the work, as it's over £250. Yes the parts (and car) may be out of warranty but 14 months is far less than you would expect parts to last. Surely not even Citroen can expect their customers to be willing to pay for these repairs every year.
