Lol and it also get the owners award for worst engine for carbonisation! It is amazing that the prince engine gets these awards yet the parts they fit to it are crap. Turbo failures, coolant sensor, electric coolant pump, and worst of all timing chains...

My first impression of the DS3-R was of amazement with it's slick colour choice of outside trim, and the usual stand-out uniqueness that separates it from the pack. Reading threads on this forum have given me a full bodied understanding of the troubles you seem to have encountered by owning one of these vehicles. I still would love one, but to take a scientific approach maybe I still do not know if these problems are just isolated incidents or felt across the entire production line. Oh well, I am not to know because DS3-R is not sold in AU, and besides I love my stock standard one too much to let it go.

That is my cue. As I am not a DS3-R owner, I better exit stage left -> DS3 General Chat.

Of course it's a winner, for the manufacturer and dealer. Steady paycheck is guaranteed as long as idiots like me buy their crap.

Oops I've hit a nerve here.

But the standard version is such a refined/robust/reliable vehicle! And in AU there is a standard 6Yr warranty with roadside assist. The 1.6 VTI 120 that is.
