Do I need a remap?!

I have a ds3 racing and have had it for 2 years now, I have purchased all the forge Motorsport parts they sell for the ds3 that also fits the racing which includes the induction kit, hard pipe kit, re circulation valve (quiet not dump), inter cooler and the oil catch tank. I have had these parts on for around 2000 miles but I have not thought about a remap, with these modifications do I NEED a remap or would that just make the car faster? I am not fussed about the performance (as you know they are quick cars already) I just need to know if it is safe to run without a remap. Thanks

There can be a number of other benefits to a remap other than the performance gain, I'm sure ive read a post from Czar saying that the stock Citroen map is far from ideal. I noticed an improvement to the spread of power delivery and slightly better economy on a run after my remap.

If you install the bigger Intercooler it would be silly to not remap
