I'm being told first build slot is indeed June for these PB DS3 but delivery will be end of June if lucky but expect week 1 or 2 of July which suits me actually. I am concerned about a Matt black paint job but ordered it anyway as I liked the look but need to look up if there are any special requirements to washing. I know you can't T-cut and polish and all the other rubbish you read that people have tried but is there any hard and fast rules with Matt or is it just hype as my colleagues have been quite negative about the car.

Sounds a bit like jealousy to me . Clean Your Ride is one of the traders here, he'd be best placed to answer your questions on looking after the Matt finish I'd have thought....

What did it cost to cancel? Did u lose your deposit?

Initially they said i would lose the whole £3000 .....I nearly fell off my chair!! I told him i would be checking all the small print!!

He rang me back an hour later and said i would get a full refund.

Absolutely ....I am also moving this weekend which will free up further funds .....so I had to keep my S3!!!

Extremely happy with my decision and can now continue enjoying every single drive :-)

They will be quicker than your diesel... But A LOT slower than a tuned THP
