Wossner Uprated Pistons for DS3 Racing

Hi all again,

Just wondering who has had the uprated wossner pistons fitted and if they have any issues with them? Possibly thinking to get them in my Racing if there have been no problems since fitting. Don't want to pay all of the money for the engine still to break.

What do you want to do with your DS3 Racing? For the 200HP the original Pistons are ok

Nothing really, just want myself to know it's not going to break, as I already have had a piston go, and the car is standard anyway :/
Possibly and induction kit to make the front end sound better, but that's about it really

The car is 2011, not sure about the actual engine because it doesn't have the Citroen Racing on top of it. But the piston was changed August 2015

He mentioned something about a smile being stuck to his face..

Other than that, I'm not aware of any other issues he's encounter. Don't forget that Ragnarok had modified a lot more than just his pistons.

Yeah, the car runs perfect at the moment, just always going to have it on my mind that something in the engine will go again. I really hope not cause I love the car, best car I've had!

I'm at (probably) just over 200bhp on my THP so would look to uprate the pistons before I did anything that would significantly increase the power.

So basically, if I leave the car standard, the genuine pistons should be ok?

Erm you might be lucky but you've already said that one piston has gone....

Lets see its on its second engine (the replacement racing engines do not have the racing logo) and that one has already had a piston replaced....and your waiting for what? more reasons.

Honest answer is if you change your pistons- who knows
Something else like an HPFP, or the ECU or the injectors, valve stems etc etc could all crack
Lets be straight- the Racing is hardly a proven concept in the engine department
