They were the figures I was expecting to see from it and have budgeted for ...... others are reporting better figures though. You can never really tell until you get it and drive it with your own style as we are all different and live in different areas (More hilly or flat). I dont really care about the MPG figures as they cannot be worse than my S3 (Hope)

I was surprised with others too, the only time i get 36 MPG is when keeping the car under 2500rpm which I rarely do... But then again mine is rebuilded has a remap and I only use 100 RON I'm sure you can gat better mpg on 98, but as you say I don't care about mpg either...

Really ? That's my current average after a couple of (ahem) exhubirant drives in the past couple of weeks something like 2000miles on this reading, motorway driving will get that back up to at least 52mpg next week, maybe more

Used to average around 38mpg on my THPs
A Good run up to 48mpg
Quick race around sometimes below 30mpg

Now I'm used to an average in the late 20's but the performance and 50p less a litre than I thought (Was almost £1.50 a litre a year ago) makes up for it

I average about 35-40 on everyday driving but only do short trips between 4 to 8 miles so still not bad for such a powerful petrol engined car☺☺

Ok so I reset my counters last week (as the 49mpg was on winter driving when it always seems to fall off a little). I'm now averaing 55.4mpg for the past 300 miles so happy with that, mixture of motorway and A/B roads as well

I can get the car to show mid to high 40s in less than 100 miles. It's after a full tank (350-400miles) that it's usually showing high 30s low 40s. I also think the computer on the car isn't totally accurate. I use Fuelly.com to keep track of my mpg - it shows the average at 35.8mpg and my best of 39.4mpg. It also shows my last tracked mpg at 36.8, even though the car showed it at 38.4
