you havent been driving it properly , if i had the ds3r it would be in the 20's i think

Had my first run to work this morning, nice bit of pull from 70 in 6th gear so no having to fanny about changing down for gentle overtaking.
My only complaint so far is that the tyres are pretty noisy, but they are identical to the ones on our Fiat 500 so I'll get used to it!

Not really no, thing is the rest of the DS3 is quiet both my Racing and a Hdi I tested, all you can really hear is the tyres and a little wind noise so you tend to notice that, my drive home this afternoon was on some newer stretches of tarmac on the south bound M3 and it was pretty quiet, so we're really at the mercy of the poor road surfaces we have.

It's pretty firm to be honest, but not ridiculously so. Handles very well and certainly in the dry it has loads of grip and not too much torque steer.
All in all I think they've got the balance for the ride spot on.
