Help crankshaft sensor fault

Hi all I'm new to the forum and need some advise please. I have a 2012 1.6 thp ds3 and it keeps throwing up an engine fault. I have had it plugged in and it's saying crankshaft sensor A is the fault. Is this easily fixed ? Any advice would be very helpful

Do you mean camshaft ? If this is the case, i would guess the timing is off. Or a dirty sensor which i had before.
If you do mean crankshaft, then i have no idea.

The reading actually said crankshaft sensor sometimes I start up with no warning light and within minutes it comes on engine repair needed and then sometimes nothing for days
think I might have to contact Citroen
