  • New Panel Filter for Racing?

Well i pick up my Racing tomorrow and was wondering whether its worth taking my K&N Filter out of my THP to put in? or if it has a better filter than the standard one already fitted.

The filter in the racing is the same as the OEM from the THP as far as I'm aware.

You've paid for the filter so best to keep hold of it imo

Same filter box and same filter, so yes, swap it over.

Will the K&N panel filter make any changes to the engine sound?

Minimal, will be slightly deeper if anything - you may not even notice it

Agreed, i cannot tell at all in my racing - but when i fitted the filter to my THP150 i think it added a bit of depth to the sound.

If you're just looking to change the tone of your engine then go with the full Forge Induction kit, you won't regret it.

does the K&N make much difference in the THP?
I was thinking of fitting one but wanted to know if its worth it
