Thought I would make a small post about the different DS3 Rally variants available! So here goes... Slowest first!


Citroen DS3 R1

Pretty much a stripped out road car with Rally Safety features!

Body- Reinforced bodyshell with welded roll cage
Engine - 1.6VTi (EP6C)
Power - 125bhp / 165NM Torque





Citroen DS3 R3

Production Based THP DS3 with Rally spec Safety Features, Suspension, Brakes & Sequential Gearbox

Body - DS3 THP 150 with specific roof-mounted air intake and rear-view mirrors + Reinforced body with welded, multi-point roll cage
Engine - 1.6 THP PSA
Power - 210bhp / 350nm Torque





Citroen DS3 R5

High Spec 4WD Rally Version ready for release Early 2014 - But not quite WRC Spec

Body - Bodyshell with welded rollcage, Mcpherson Suspension & Citroën Racing Shock Absorbers
Engine - EP6 CDT - 1.6 direct injection turbo engine
Power - 280bhp / 400nm Torque





Citroen DS3 WRC

Ultimate 4WD Stage Rally Car - 9 WRC Wins in its first full Season!

Body - Reinforced Steel and Composite Fibre body with welded, multi-point roll cage, Sadev 6 Speed Sequential Gearbox, Citroen Racing 3 Way Adjustable Shock Absorbers
Engine - Citroën Racing - 1.6 turbocharged direct injection engine
Power - 300bhp / 350nm Torque

Any version from R5 upwards (with the 4WD) for me - probably cost an arm and a leg though :-(

Lol I know but I sat in one at last years Ulster Rally and watch a load of them at this years Ulster Rally... they look like some craic!
