    Hi All

Thinking of buying a gorgeous but not gorgeous enough black and white DS3. It has the 2 white stripes along the black roof. What I would like to know is....... can I put the leopard roof sticker over the stripes??? Or how do I get rid of the stripes, cheaply?? Love the car, but not keen on the stripes. Would like to add the chrome rubbing strips, leopard roof and the chrome front grill. Waiting for a price from Citroen .

    Cheers you lucky owners!!

    Welcome to the club

You should be able to just peel the stripes off if they are vinyl.

Sounds like the white edition you are talking about. Bigfeet should be able to confirm if the stripes are paint or vinyl.

The stripes are likely just going to be stickers that peel off in the same way as any other sticker (or plaster).

the leopard vinyl can be quite expensive to purchase and fit from Citroen, it might be in your best interests to speak with another company (try reforma on this forum) to see if they can do it cheaper for you

The stripes are easy enough to remove, Rickzayne on here removed his.

I feel I should point out the performance gain you get from stripes. There's an extra 5mph to be had on top speed with stripes on the roof.

Do you think it would be that easy??? The vinyl is £225 fitted from citroen, still waiting for a reply from them though!!!

Waiting for dealer to get back to me with a decent part ex price!! Kinda skint, so looking at a diesel with 63000 on the clock. Drives nice, just needs a few little extras I think ;0)

The stripes on the Black and White editions were vinyl, a heat gun will remove them no bother.

                          These ones?

Again, if you decide to purchase them make sure you mention the forum as you'll have some discount applied to your order

If you do buy a DS3, have a look at full membership which grants you access to the full members area where there's a bunch of other partners listed and plenty of discounts available.
