De-Lock Bezels

Is there any chrome door handle bezels in the Citroen range without the key hole that can be used on the Ds3 to smooth out the door handles ?

Certainly dont see the need of the passenger side keyhole and would like to get rid of the drivers side to.
Oh and before someone says.... how will you get into the car if the battery in the fob goes flat ? In 40 years of driving ive never had a fob battery go flat on me, or a remote central locking failure ...... famous last words !

Well Ive now de-locked both the passenger and drivers side doors.

Put together a small how to in case anyone is interested in doing the same.

First, obtain 2 x handle bezels/end caps without the keyholes. I sourced one from the Ebay, the other came from Citroen. Note, you cannot buy just the end cap from Citroen ..... it has to be the whole handle !

Before .......



Peel back the black blanking sticker that covers up the access hole ....





Using a T15 torx headed key, slacken the screw that holds the end cap on. The screw turns about 2 turns then stops ...... Do not force the screw past this stop point !



Carefully pull the end cap, along with the lock barrel, out from the door ...





Once removed, replace the keyhole bezel with the de-lock end cap.



Retighten torx headed screw.

Replace the black blanking sticker back over the hole.

Test the remote central locking that all is as it should be.

Job done !! Nice smooth looking door handles on both sides
