Just getting ahead of the fitting instructions now but had a quick question:

Q. Does securing the bottom part of the strut (by the engine bay) require us to pull the wheel arch liner down to secure it ? I'm thinking a nut on the bottom of the strut....

No. Just unscrew the bolt that's there now and screw in the strut bolt. Its same size/thread and could have been made for the job !



Just one thing, the strut in the photo is the wrong way around ! It works as normal this way but having it the other way help keeps the seals lubricated so it doesn't start to squeak after a few months ! New pics will be posted as soon as Ive fitted the first production kit by the end of the week.

The bonnet, especially on the DS3, isn't that heavy. Its just getting the 'power' of the strut right. You don't want to pop the bonnet and it takes someones head off !

The brackets have turned out really well and it takes about 15 mins to fit. Only tool required is a 10mm spanner :-)

Although we still have to produce the instructions I will add these to the Team Torquesteer site this evening and post a link. You can then pre-order if you wish although they WILL NOT be sent until the instructions can be included. Hopefully this should be some time next week.
